Hello stranger! I realise its been a little while, the long and short of it is that I have been in England since the end of last year. The last month has been intense to say the least and I ended up taking an impromptu break. I’ve been busy in the kitchen so expect to see some new recipes soon. I have also been eating at lot’s of amazing meals, one of which was at Giraffe.
My birthday takes place at a pretty awkward point in the year. Everyone is out of pocket and joyous spirit by the time my special day rolls around, so I usually have to take it upon myself to make something happen. Even though it was freezing outside and the weather forecast was predicting possible snow, we decided to make a day of it anyway.
It’s been a long while since I had a really good burger. A burger that puts you in a haze and you end up thinking about it for the next few days. My sister and I had gone on the hunt for a vegan dinner, only to find the restaurant we wanted to go to closed. It turned out to be just our luck because we happened upon the burger joint of my dreams!
If you read my last post, you’ll know that I had a fun-filled day of adventure in Brixton. In the midst of all the exploring I accidentally happened upon vegan bakery Ms Cupcake. I literally squealed with excitement and hurried in. As you know, I am a big baker so this was heaven for me. It’s not everyday that you find a vegan bakery, it was so inspiring and has motivated me to get my measuring cups out.
