Oh kitchen garden, how I have missed you! It’s been a long while since I’ve pottered about my garden and got my hands dirty. So you can imagine how elated I am that its spring and I can get tools out. This update is overdue as my beloved plants have grown so much and are really coming into their own.
If you follow My Kitchen Garden series, you’ll know I’ve recently developed a green thumb. I am no gardening expert, but I love reading up on horticulture and how to help my plants become their best. I am unabashedly proud of my kitchen garden as I put a lot of work into it. Being a proud momma does make one slightly biased, but I have always secretly thought my kitchen garden was a cut above the rest.. Until I saw this urban garden in Haarlem.
I apologise in advance for my uncontrollable excitement during this post. I have indeed become one of those gardening ladies. I never thought I’d be a person who thought talking about how their mint was doing was appropriate conversation. Alas, it officially is.
Now, I am by no means outdoorsy or have a green thumb but I do have a childlike fascination with the way food grows. This fascination has grown into a full-time project that I am thoroughly excited about, welcome to the beginning of my kitchen garden!
